Orange-the hot wedding color!

Orange is one of the hottest wedding colors this year. If you choose orange for the flower girl dress it will definitely set your wedding apart from all others.
Orange may be used in a summer, or fall wedding. The color orange combines the energy of red, and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics.
There are many shades of orange to choose from for your flower girl. Pick one and let your creative juices flow! Orange has a very high visibility so you will definitely catch the attention and highlight the most important elements of your wedding day.
Plus, David loves the Cleveland Browns, whose color is brown and orange!

Reception: Atlantic Dance Hall

This looks so fun. I was thinking the ceremony could also be at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel in a Banquet Hall? I'm not sure what would be a good ceremony location that is not too expensive?

Side Note

I have not really discussed this yet with David. These are just ideas so I can put them down somewhere. I have talked with him briefly about ideas and he seems okay with it just wants to wait, naturally. The only people who can read this blog are Mom, Michelle, and Emily. I can add others who are trustworthy later.

Our Song

"Love Will Keep Us Alive" by Eagles

I love this song, it makes me cry. Dave likes the Eagles and we watched the Concert DVD together one night and he was very mushy.

Sea Breeze Point at DisneyWorld's Boardwalk Pavilion

This may be a little too pricey for us. We may try to rent a beach on Cocoa Beach or something as well. Or a church in Orlando? I am not sure. Getting married on the beach would be nice with the waves.

More Dress Ideas

I think this one is my favorite!

WOW!

Beautiful.

I love the back/train of this dress.

Dress Ideas

I love the sleeves on this. This would look good on me.

This is beautiful.

A little more fancy than I am thinking.

I like the back though.

Dates I am Thinking About

My parents will be at Disney World in December 2009. They will be staying at the Swan and Dolphin Resort which is very beautiful. We are thinking of inviting everyone who would like to come and then have the ceremony and reception that month as well at the DisneyWorld Resort.

Why? Because DisneyWorld is somewhere we went when I was a teenager and it holds fond memories for me. I was 15 and dreamed of meeting that special someone someday. I also went with my two daughters in 2006 and it was very memorable since I had been sick before in 2004, lost custody, and experienced many trials and tribulations. I was a full fledged single mother then and very lonely, but I remember standing under the fireworks show and just being so grateful for my blessings.

When? December 5, 2009 or
December 12, 2009 or
November 28, 2009 or
November 27, 2009 (which will be the Friday after Thanksgiving which means that a lot of people could get the weekend off and we could celebrate Thanksgiving as well as the marriage/wedding. Fridays are a bit less expensive to book.

Where? Ceremony at the Boardwalk Deck, pic to come
Reception at the Boardwalk Dance Club, Atlantic or something else

Guests can stay at local motels, hotels, or Disneyworld resorts which are priced anywhere from $89-350 per night.

The Promise Ring I would Like

This is a similar picture of the promise ring I would Dave to get me when he can. The one I would like is at Gold Rush Jewelers in Rohnert Park. Price tag is $799. It is a thin rose gold 14 k band with beautiful diamonds all around. Very thin and simple. I don't want something huge right now.
